About the Mohel

My Approach

As a clinically trained, Certified Mohel with over 15 years of experience, I approach every circumcision, including khitan (khatna), as both a professional responsibility and a personal trust. Each family entrusts me with something deeply precious, and I honor that trust with the highest level of care, precision, and sensitivity.

My goal is for you to feel calm and confident from start to finish. I take time to clearly explain each step, answer all questions, and prioritize your baby’s comfort throughout the procedure. Using gentle, natural techniques that support fast and smooth healing, I combine surgical expertise with genuine compassion—creating a safe, reassuring, and respectful khitan/circumcision experience for your family.

My Training

I began my professional training over 15 years ago at the prestigious London School of Circumcision, followed by more than three years of advanced, hands-on apprenticeship in Israel.

My primary mentor was Rabbi Aharon Greentzveig, one of the most respected circumcision specialists in the world, who served for decades at the Telzstone Mother and Baby Convalescent Home, caring for approximately 5,000 newborn circumcisions each year. Under his guidance, I developed exceptional practical experience and surgical precision.

This extensive background has prepared me to perform both routine and complex circumcisions, including khitan (khatna), with clarity, care, and uncompromising professional standards.

Beyond technical skill, my training instilled a deep sense of responsibility, compassion, and respect for every family — values that guide every circumcision I perform.

"He was very professional, very concerned about details and the baby’s needs. He was very professional, very concerned about details and the baby’s needs. He...stayed in contact until we confirmed that the baby was completely healed. As a surgeon myself, I noted he was organized, efficient, and capable during the bris. He was friendly and approachable. I can recommend him as a Mohel without reservation."

1

Call to schedule

Congratulations on your new baby boy! Still expecting? Feel free to call and discuss scheduling the circumcision, including khitan (khatna), ahead of time. We’ll get to know each other, review your baby’s health, discuss timing, and answer any questions you may have.

2

The Check-In

Once your little prince is born and you’re home from the hospital, I’ll check in to see how he’s doing.

This can be done in person or remotely — whatever’s most convenient for you.

We’ll confirm the time and place that works best for you. This is also the perfect opportunity to ask any remaining questions so you feel fully prepared and confident.

3

The Circumcision

The circumcision can be performed in the comfort of your home or in my private home clinic.

The procedure itself is brief, typically lasting 20–30 seconds, with parents close by to provide immediate comfort and reassurance.

4

Aftercare

After the circumcision, I’ll provide clear, simple instructions on how to care for your baby.

Healing typically takes a few days to a week. During that time, I’ll check in with you to ensure everything is healing properly and to answer any questions that may come up.
