#1 Local Mohel – Serving Families Across NY, NJ, and PA & Beyond

Find out why families - and professionals -
trust Rabbi Shlomo Golish, Certified Mohel

When planning your son’s bris, many parents look for a mohel who is familiar with their area and can make the experience smooth and reassuring. Based in the tri-state region, I regularly serve families throughout New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania, bringing professional skill, precision, and a caring approach to every ceremony.

I’m often in Brooklyn, Long Island, Lakewood, Queens, Teaneck, Manhattan, Monsey, Passaic, the Five Towns, Cherry Hill, Philadelphia, Great Neck, and Staten Island, and I’m happy to travel to other nearby communities when needed. Whether your bris takes place at home, in a synagogue, or another venue, my focus is always on ensuring a meaningful and safe ceremony for your family and baby.

Each setting and each family is unique. Before the bris, we’ll go over the timing, setup, and any special considerations—such as involving older siblings, honoring grandparents, or coordinating with a rabbi or medical professional. On the day itself, my priority is to maintain a calm and respectful environment while carrying out the procedure with precision and care.

If you’d like to learn more about my background and approach, you can start with the main page of RabbiMohel.com. For a clear, step-by-step explanation of the process, visit What to Expect, and for answers to practical questions about preparation, aftercare, and scheduling, see the FAQ. Families also enjoy browsing the Gallery to get a feel for how a bris can be both dignified and joyful.

After the bris, I remain available to answer questions and ensure aftercare is simple and clear. Over the years, I’ve worked with families in large cities, suburban neighborhoods, and small towns—always adapting to each situation while upholding the traditions and significance of this mitzvah.

If you’d like to confirm availability or discuss your family’s plans, please contact me. It would be my honor to serve your family anywhere in NY, NJ, or PA, bringing a steady hand and warm presence to this once-in-a-lifetime occasion.

Over the years, I’ve been called upon for brissim in a wide range of settings—from quiet home gatherings to large synagogue celebrations—and I adapt the ceremony to fit each family’s needs and preferences. My goal is always to ensure the moment is both memorable and true to the beautiful tradition it represents.
